Museum Night at Jaunmoku Castle – Values ​​and Stories of Witnesses of the Era


During this year's European Museum Night, Jaunmoku Castle invites you to experience a unique, valuable evening in the historical premises and park of the castle. The evening will focus on a series of video projections that will allow you to get to know the stories of witnesses of the era - people whose lives and work are closely connected with the castle and its surroundings.

From 18:00 to 23:00, visitors are invited to go on an audiovisual journey, in which the interaction between man and castle, man and forest, is revealed through the experiences of forester, hunter, restorer, artist and castle employees. These stories shine with pride, care, knowledge and values ​​that connect the past with the present.

Guided tours of the park's most notable places will take place at 18:30 and 20:30.

During this time, you will be able to get to know the park and its majestic trees, as well as the history of the castle.

From From 16:00 to 21:00, a local farmers' market will be held in the castle park, where you can buy crafts and delicacies.

The Castle Café Terrace will also be open all day long – from 12:00 to 23:00 – where you can enjoy a leisurely atmosphere and delicious food.
